The 2025 Taiwan–Japan Neuroscience Exchange Workshop was held as an official satellite event of the 48th Annual Meeting of the Japan Neuroscience Society, representing the continued development of TJNEA’s annual exchange activities.

The workshop brought together researchers from Taiwan, Japan, and other countries, covering a broad range of topics including memory, neurodevelopment, neuroimaging, neuroimmunology, neuromodulation, and artificial intelligence in neuroscience. Speakers ranged from principal investigators to doctoral students, reinforcing TJNEA’s emphasis on cross-generational exchange.

Through a combination of scientific presentations and extended open discussion, the 2025 workshop emphasized collaboration, knowledge sharing, and the formation of new international research connections.

The 2024 Taiwan–Japan Young Researcher Exchange Workshop was organized as an official satellite event of NEURO2024. Building on the experience of the 2023 symposium, TJNEA played a central role in organizing a scientifically focused workshop aimed at early-career researchers.

The program featured multiple short-talk sessions delivered by assistant professors, postdoctoral researchers, and senior doctoral students from Taiwan, Japan, and international institutions. Research topics spanned molecular and systems neuroscience, behavior, neuroimaging, and neuropsychiatric disorders.

An extended free discussion session formed a core part of the workshop, providing a relaxed environment for in-depth scientific exchange, methodological discussion, and exploration of potential collaborations.

The 2023 Taiwan–Japan Neuroscience Exchange Symposium was held as an official satellite event of the 46th Annual Meeting of the Japan Neuroscience Society and was jointly organized with the Taiwan Neuroscience Society (TNS).

Designed as an evening networking-focused symposium, the event combined brief introductory talks with extended social interaction. Speakers presented overviews of neuroscience research environments in Taiwan, Japan, and the international community, representing academic societies, universities, and research institutions.

The symposium concluded with an open networking session featuring food and drinks, encouraging informal discussion and cross-cultural exchange among participants from diverse backgrounds and career stages. This event established the foundation for TJNEA’s continued involvement in Taiwan–Japan neuroscience exchange activities.
